Joiner Company Profile
On
December 26, 2003, Gatewick Enterprises, Inc., a woman owned business,
purchased certain assets from Hopeman Brothers Marine Interiors
LLC. Included in that purchase were the assets necessary to execute
the LPD Program at Northrop Grumman’s
Avondale and Ingalls Shipyards, as well as those necessary to
execute the BP and T-AKE
contracts at General Dynamics NASSCO shipyard. Those assets were
organized into US Joiner LLC.
Jayne
J. Rathburn is the President of Gatewick Enterprises and CEO of
its wholly owned subsidiary, US Joiner.

replace joiner products or systems. Engineering and purchasing
records are retained in the Virginia office making it possible
to closely match existing color schemes for furniture, bulkheads,

Experience
Program
Management and Engineering Staff
The
program management team facilitates communication and
coordination between the various stakeholders in a project.
The stakeholders are both internal and external to US
Joiner. They include, but are not limited to: customer
purchasing/contracts departments, customer engineering,
regulatory bodies, USJ engineering, estimating, materials,
yard installation and accounting.
The
engineering and estimating staff is equipped with the
latest in computerized drafting equipment including 3-D
modeling capabilities. The staff has a thorough knowledge
of the requirements for the US Navy as well as SOLAS,
U.S.C.G., Lloyds, UK Marine Safety Agency and other Flag
Administration Regulations as they apply to the public
spaces and accommodation areas of passenger carrying vessels.

materials team includes a director, a sub-contract administrator
and buyers with more than 72 years experience managing

the onsite superintendent and core supervision. USJ has
very experienced managers in the field to support the
customer, providing solutions to the most challenging
